I've never had so much trouble getting a crank arm off. I figured the fucking thing must be rusted on there or something. I'm jumping on it, using a cheater, lots of WD-40, and eventually breaking out the impact gun.
On a slightly different note, I don't remember ever swapping this chain, but I also find it hard to believe that it lasted so well over the last 11 years. No significant stretch, no tight links, free and happy. Go figure.
