Dumbass Move of the Day

I've never had so much trouble getting a crank arm off. I figured the fucking thing must be rusted on there or something. I'm jumping on it, using a cheater, lots of WD-40, and eventually breaking out the impact gun.

Of course it helps to swap the crank tool from ISIS to square taper. Much easier that way, the crank slipped right off.

On a slightly different note, I don't remember ever swapping this chain, but I also find it hard to believe that it lasted so well over the last 11 years. No significant stretch, no tight links, free and happy. Go figure.
